Living Films and Matthias Zentner come together again to make a splash!!
Teaming up once again with Matthias Zentner Living films put Magnesia and Natea tea together into a two day shoot. While the shooting team hussled to meet the demands of our tight schedule the rest of the team put the finishing touches on the next days shoot.
Matthias envisioned a troupe of costumed dancers in a modern interpertive piece expressing the refreshment of Magnesia mineral water. A dance troupe was assembled in Bangkok and joined by two Italian ballerinas. Bangkok Choreographer Mark Rosolini orchestrated a symphony of fluid physical expression. Wardrobe brought us clinging impressionistic outfits as if teal brush strokes across the body had flowed down to the floor. The art department put on the final touches with a water covered stage shooting sprinklers from the front and above.Captured at an average of 3oo frames per second on Phantom HD cameras the spot makes for a riveting spectacle.
Challenges arose,as they will, and were met. The cameras rolled or captured rather. The dancers leapt. The water flowed, and a stunning piece was made.

DANCE PICKS : Combine dancers, musicians, actors, poets, a filmmaker, and, for good measure, someone described as a "gender illusionist," and, according to Impulse Dance director Adrienne Hawkins, you have the makings of "an explosive hour of fun and frolic." The cast includes Kyle Pleasant, Jeffrey Polston, Lisa Pari, Christina Belinsky, and the DJ Dancers. The program features excerpts from Hawkins's collaboration with poet/bassist Larry Roland, "tha thang about it is ..."
