DANCE PICKS : Combine dancers, musicians, actors, poets, a filmmaker, and, for good measure, someone described as a "gender illusionist," and, according to Impulse Dance director Adrienne Hawkins, you have the makings of "an explosive hour of fun and frolic." The cast includes Kyle Pleasant, Jeffrey Polston, Lisa Pari, Christina Belinsky, and the DJ Dancers. The program features excerpts from Hawkins's collaboration with poet/bassist Larry Roland, "tha thang about it is ..." Presenters describe the piece, which consists of improvisational music and dance set to poetry, as being concerned with "spirituality, ...... and social issues." The evening will also include an animated film by ........... and original compositions by the ... Trio.
